Wudup Doe!!!

I’d like to welcome you all to the relaunch #DaRundown Sports. What started as a podcast and blog is now a full on site. There were decision that had to made in order to focus our content and give you high quality post, podcast, interviews, and many other great pieces of media. What it does for you is bring a multimedia site that covers he latest and greatest in the worlds of Atlanta sports and Hip-Hop. We have a list of contributors coming along very soon. As they come the amount of content coming out every week will increase. For now look forward to new podcast in couple different flavors and posts that will spark some different conversations. While Twitter is great for short conversations we intend to take some that go beyond the legal limit of the blue bird.

#DaRundown Sports Podcast

When the #DaRundown Sports first started it was to be the Hip-Hop flavor podcast for sports fans like myself. As I started this journey it became apparent that I needed to be more effective. The problem with national stories is they bring so much to the table. What I decided to do was focus on whats going on within arms reach. I wanted a site where fans could really be genuine part of the show and not just a quick segment and then on to the next. We have #DaRundown Shoutbox (385)-98-LEGGO. Give us a 90 second take on whatever you like. It can be trending topic, past or something you noticed no one is talking about. Bring it here and you can be apart of the show.

The podcast will come in two iterations. #DaRundown will bring a more infotainment style show with much more emphasis on the entertainment value.

The other will cover more of news and information in an interview format. We will have a broad range of guest going from bloggers, athletes, artists, everyone in between and you the fans. This is the forum where we will cover stories from all corners of the globe. We let everyone know who’s coming on so you can send in your Twitter questions using #DRDS when we having a chat. It will be a mix of music, sports, and culture all in the same place.

More information is soon to come. I am teasing this right now because there are some issues that need to worked out before I can give details. Just know this is the place where #DaRundown goes in on Hip-Hop.

As for as of this moment CL “The Main Event” is going to be your chief blogger. I would love to cover every story in the areas we serve except I don’t have the time as an individual. If you follow me or the site on Twitter, I will however, provide links and tweets about the stories you care about from a host of great writers, athletes, fans and other interesting sources.

As stated above we have some contributors coming along who will be specializing in different areas and give you the conversations from those sections. As for now the blog will cover some more ongoing stories instead of just up to the moment coverage. It’s important that I’m gathering more of the perspective of the story for the fans and not just the who and what.

So as you see we have much to offer going forward. #DaRundown Sports is a site ran by fans and participants of these great cultures. There’s no time when you speculate on an agenda of any kind. I am transparent, sometimes even at a fault. As you can see an example with the paragraph above.  If ever there is a question about anything we do here, we are available on social media.
