So if there was one thing I had problem with ,in an overall sense, is confirming anything beside the fact that Denver will give it to whoever comes. I’m looking at the Bengals like this is a good chance confirm they are contender for at least seeing Denver late in January. Is Cleveland D that good or is Cincy (really Andy Dalton) jus not ready to have a target on its back?
Watching Dallas vs San Diego game me more questions than a “First 48” interview. We thought maybe Dallas was a shoe in to take the division over and San Diego was a doormat team in the west. Phillip Rivers looks healthy and focused. Dallas just isn’t consistent whatsoever. You can put a couple eggs in their basket but put a few up for later. You might end up scrambling those two. I just don’t know about anything.
As long as you didn’t underestimate Reggie Bush signing with Detroit then Sunday was not a surprise at all. Chicago is getting a lot of love because the offense is better and the defense is reputable but are made out be a great almost shutdown like. I feel like last year they some unrepeatable stats on a yearly basis. I’m not sure if DJ Williams is as smart as Brian Urlacher but at that position it makes a difference. Either way if the Packers don’t come back strong this division up for grabs.
The same goes for the following Divisional opponents:
Dallas and Washington
New England and Miami
Cincinnati and Baltimore (Maybe Cleveland?)
And yes
Denver and Kansas City
In my opinion all these Divisions have a favorite but the slightest slip can change everything. I’ll catch some flack for speaking against Denver but that’s two games I have circled.
Atlanta isn’t winning these 50/50 games they have won in years past and you can see that very year they win but they never dominate. No lie I’m a Saints fan but I’m still objective. The Saints D is looking better than I could imagined and Drew Brees has the other half of his brain back. Its not looking good for Matt Ryan and his bad deep accuracy issues. After Monday night New Orleans looks to me like at least a top 3 team in the league. NFC won’t be a cake walk but damn I got at least half of the conference with no chance.
We’ll go in depth on this in our first podcast of #DaRundown Sports coming this week.
