Welcome back to #DaRunownSouth. We got a another great show packed with Hip-Hop and sports. We talk with an “international” indie artist and examine some NFL storylines.
This week on the podcast I interview Toronto Hip-Hop Artist Shah about his new single “Ridin’ Shotty With God” and his upcoming A3C performance here in Atlanta. Seeming from out of nowhere Shah has one of those “that’s whats going on over there?” internet buzzes.  Because you are so removed from the situation it doesn’t always enter your peripheral. With that said Shah has the mindset of an entrepreneur and recognizes that in day and age, people with a sharp mind and their pockets focused you can make your dream happen.  On track to becoming a doctor, he realized that wasn’t the route for him. Music was where is heart is and now he in on his way. Check out the video of “Ridin’ Shotty With God” below.
This season in the NFL we have been hit over the head with a few different surprises including Carson Wentz in Philadelphia, the Carolina Panthers being bad and Sam Bradford was traded for a 1st round pick. That last one make people shake their head. Bradford’s previous record would indicate that he wouldn’t be worth something so valuable but that’s in a vacuum. Looking at Minnesota’s situation, the Viking QB Teddy Bridgewater is out for the season, the team was a field goal away from winning a game in the playoffs, and they seem to have improved the roster even more this year. Add that up and you have a Super Bowl capable defense with no Quarterback. Would you trade a first round pick for a Super Bowl? Every NFL fan would immediately say yes. Â That’s what Vikings did when they traded for Sam Bradford. Once
you realize he is a big arm talent that was immediately elevated by an elite offensive mind in Norv Turner, you can make the case this team has what it takes to win it all.
