Long time since you heard from us. If you didn’t know better you would think the podcast had been canceled but this not the case. Because when we shutdown the blog we moved everything to a new home @ darundown.com. Please come here for some all around great content on the Atlanta sports and Hip-Hop scene and maybe even lil’ something you didn’t expect but will respect.
On this episode I chop it up with the homey from Route4Sports.com. Jason Feirman (@SportsProphet1). This is Jason’ second time on the podcast. On the first go round I found out about his love for the San Francisco 49ers. Speaking of the gold diggin’ football club, I asked him about what’s going on with their headlining money issues. Jim Harbaugh and Colin Kaepernick are looking for paydays and draw some interesting dynamics between them and their Dallas Cowboys counterparts. We rundown the NFL combine and the Atlanta Falcons potential selections in the draft. Following that we get after Lebron James’ show with his mask on last week. He isn’t the only one who put up huge totals while protecting their face. I ask the question: Why do NBA players have monster games when they put the mask on? Is it coincidence or does the mask add something that can’t be numerated?
To follow that up I had a sit down with my homey Slim aka Eazy’s Life and we have our first in person podcast in a while. We also get into a debate over the combine. Most notably Johnny Manziel and where he will land. Even more importantly will Johnny land on a team that’s watchable during the average NFL weekend? This is also the first time where we take Atlanta as a main course for a conversation. Today we delve into the Atlanta Falcons issues and what can the Hawks do to contend. We also speak on the Scott Pioli hiring as assistant general manager under Thomas Dimitroff. What will be some of the effects of having another voice in the room? These stories will be back drops for the next few weeks. I hope you all enjoy and thank you for listening and reading.
