The Falcons take their first lost of the season in Cincinnati with a few grains of salt. With a score of 24 – 10 it proved the talking points against the Falcons.  They got beat up physically, couldn’t play on outside on the road, and the defense has incredible  holes in it.  There might have been the an emotional letdown after riding high and beating the Saints at home.

With that said, are you surprised? Is it a product of playing in a dome? The New Orleans Saints have had similar problems when on the road. It’s one of the pieces in the equation. It’s still early in the season but really.  How much faith do you have in the defense? Even with AJ Green going down, they still couldn’t hold down the Bengals run game. Cincinnati ran the ball 45 times for a 170 yards and 2 touchdowns.

The offense for the Falcons didn’t do much. Matt Ryan threw 3 picks with his best receiver being Julio Jones had 88 of his 231 yards. The Bengals defense is hard for any team to overcome but when your down to your third option at Left Tackle then it becomes good timing for a good defense to come see you.
