I spoke with the former UAB soccer player and graduate about her recent trip to NBA All-Star Weekend. I asked her about the parties and the scene in general. Since I didn’t go and it being Valentines Day, I was kinda checked out on Saturday. I continue to silently boycott the NBA All-Star Celebrity game until Kevin Hart is forced into retirement. I can’t take it for another year. They count tweets as votes and his following is massive.

We catch up on a few story lines by bringing up her preseason predictions at this point in the season. The Toronto Raptors and the Atlanta Hawks share some similarities. Both teams sit at the top half of the Easter Conference and nobody has any faith in either of them. The Raptors have a little less confidence from most but the dismissal of Atlanta is very disheartening.

We wrap the conversation with some talk about her hometown of Toronto. She has work in the sports media industry and has worked with some very notable names. Then I ask a few questions about the most famous Canadian since Wayne Gretzky, Drake and how he is perceived in the land has branded “The 6”. As an added bonus I did figure out if your from Toronto your pretty much a couple degrees of separation from Drizzy.
