Welcome back once again. This is part 2 of my chat with NBA.com Hang Time Blog’s Sekou Smith. If you didn’t catch Part 1, I suggest you go check that out. We got to know more about the man behind the blog. On this side of things we break down more current topics.

For one since Sekou lives in Atlanta and he works in the national media, I wanted to know why is the A-Town slept on as a sports town? I asked a few questions about his Hang Time Podcast co-host. I find out whether or not Lang Whitaker ever shows any irrationalities about his hometown teams. Then I learned the whole Rick Fox “pretty boy” thing could just be the fact that his looks transcend Hollywood on screen trends.

I attempt to wrap a makeshift bow on the Danny Ferry situation. With his help, Sekou and I shoot those down the rumblings around me about the 2 Chainz appearance was more of a distraction rather than the Hawks celebrating Atlanta’s culture and success of the team. Looking back the Hawks marketing team deserves some kudos. This wasn’t a  let’s have the popular guy do concert. They went all in with 2 Chainz.
