Atlanta Falcons’ Cupcakes Take More ‘Shots’ than O-Line

Alcohol infused cupcakes intoxicating the headlines on sports blogs

Gotta love the sports media and preseason NFL talk. Seems like when it comes down to it just a lot of speculation, add in some coach speak and a few sports cliches and you have the formula. An early Saturday search for Atlanta Falcons news popped with everyone talking about the Falcons’ cupcakes and not rookie defensive Donte “cupcake” Rumph.

Dawn Belisle’s Delights by Dawn’s stand inside the Georgia dome has pretty much gathered the collective attention and intoxicated the sports blogesphere. I knew the spot light was on the Atlanta Falcons thanks to Hard Knocks but didn’t think it would go so hard in the paint.  Dawn’s alcohol infused cupcakes has been featured in Sports Illustrated, Yahoo Sports, The Washington Post, Fox Sports, and Bleacher Report amongst others. Her “soul-warming” desserts even got Keith Olbermann a lil ruffled.

Dawn’s cupcakes come in a variety of flavors from “Apple Cinnamon Fireball” to “White Almond Amaretto”. Without a copy of the game time menu, I’m not sure which ones are available at the Georgia Dome but you can check out her entire selection of cupcakes and full size cakes here.

Makes wonder what happens when you eat one of these on top of those one of those ‘brownies’ from California.
